iPhone XR, XS and XS Max can now download the new software update iOS 12.1.2 on their device. The software is a minor update, weighing in at 100MB. Apple announced the released of it’s new software update early Tuesday morning.
However, Apple new software update does not bring any new features to the table, but it might be quite important for you if you own an iPhone XS Max, iPhone XS, or iPhone Xr. That’s because it fixes bugs with eSIM activation on Apple’s 2018 devices.
And hopefully with this new software update (iOS 12.1.2), eSIM support for iPhone XS, XR and XS Max can now function perfectly.
The new software update might also serve another purpose for those in Turkey. iOS 12.1.2 will address an issue that have affected cellular connectivity in Turkey for the three iPhones launched this year.
How do you get it? The update should be available over-the-air already, so if you haven’t received a notification about it yet, you can manually check for it through Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone.
