Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 Review: Y7 Prime is a price friendly smartphone from Huawei. The device is portable and light weighted. Its size also made it sleek and perfect for one hand operation. Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 is a mid-ranger device with a decent price when compared to its specs. For average earners, this device will easily fit in to your style without necessarily putting hole in your pocket. Moreover, the device also has a dewdrop notch display design with other impressive features.
What are other interesting things about this newish device? Mntrends Tech presents you with the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 review:
We’ve already written about our first impressions and specs but here’s a brief breakdown:
• 6.2-inches screen display
• Android 8.1 (Oreo)
• Dual rear cameras 13MP + 2MP depth sensor
• 16MP selfie camera
• 3GB RAM and 32 Internal storage
Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 is light weighted and portable for a single hand operation. The device comes in three beautiful colors of your choice; Aurora Blue, Midnight Black, Coral Red. The smartphone features a resolution of 720p, of course it is a mid-ranger device so we shouldn’t expect otherwise. All the controls are on the right, both the volume rocker and the power button. On the left, is the dual-SIM tray (uses SIM 2 slot for microSD).

Cameras and Connectivity
Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 has three cameras – two 13MP and 2MP depth sensor on the back and one 16MP selfie camera on the front. So far, the cameras are decent for taking pictures. The front camera is sharp and brilliant for taking selfies.
The Y7 Prime device is 4G supported, while others includes WiFi, WiFi hotspot, WiFi direct, Bluetooth v4.2, 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB 2.0 support.
Software and Performance
The Huawei Y7 Prime packs 3GB RAM and an internal storage of 32GB. It worked perfectly fine with my multitasking habits. My only concern is why Huawei didn’t launched this device unboxed with Android 9.0 (Pie) but rather with Android 8.1 Oreo.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 (14 nm) 1.8GHz Octa-core processor.
I am not disappointed at all with this phone’s battery capacity. As Huawei baked this device with a non-removable battery capacity of 4,000 mAh.
With the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 review so far, here is my take on the smartphone. The price of the device is fine for a mid-ranger packed with so much specs like this. Average income earners can easily afford this phone without much financial stress. Although, am a little disappointed that the phone is not running on the latest OS version (Android Pie). But again, Android Oreo is still manageable.
